PLX-15 is one of the more important cult bands in Norway. participated on the very much talked about compilation ”Can a Butterfly Smash a Weel?” reviewed in The Wire. The trio reunited at Nødutgangfestivalen 2008, and after a very convincing performance we had to have them back.
PLX-15 started in 1985 da De Pravity (on leg) changed name. Jon Hveding (all instruments and vocals) and Remi Langmo (all instruments and vocals) made tracks which was some kind of punk-synthpop, by some named as pre-techno. After they participated on a Belgium compilation, they expanded with Lars Nicolaysen (all instrumenst and vocals), and they debuted as a trio in December 1985.
They continued both as a duo and a trio in the late 80s and with various members. They have broken up and had reunions, the last one in 2007.
