PetterO Hanna spontaneously compose outgoing music with lots of friction and playfulness. The result is a characteristic eclectic blend of free-improv, electronica, noise, pop, glitch, contemporary music and jazz.
The duo focuses on the contrasts in the music they play; construction and deconstruction, to get to the core of every melody, every phrase and every beat. They released their debutalbum “That is a Step”on the english impro-label FMR-Records in 2008 to great reviews, and arranged releasetours in Norway, Sweden, USA and Canada.

Hanna has a bachelor-degree from the renowned Jazzcourse in Trondheim. On top of the soloproject WHEN SHE UTTERS she´s also found in LØYPE! and YouLovedMeLikeAStone.
Petter Vågan – Lapsteel, Livesampling and Fx.
Petter has just finished his performing mastersdegree at the Jazzcourse in Trondheim. Petter has released several records and is also playing with Peloton, Trondheim Jazzorkester, Juxtaposed, Room, Phy, Eyewaterlillies and Vertex.
