BAGIO is a guitar / drum duo from Hamburg, Germany. BAGIO has just released two CD’s, one is a remix work with international artist like Jean Herve Peron (FAUST), Ari up (THE SLITS) and others.

In regular BAGIO has odd rhythms and a lot of changes but the audience can still shake their heads. BAGIO suggest to name it Be Bop Hardcore. Others say ADHD-music (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Dysfunction), or Avant-Garde.

Charles Hayward (Ex- THIS HEAT): „Astonishing, very new. … I recognised similar solutions to working with limited resources, an intelligent mobility crossed with physicality.”

A Music-Magazine wrote, that our music would have been released years ago on SST or Enemy and BAGIO probably would have played Knitting Factory“.

A different Magazine named the music „instrumental, brachial and sounds very muck like Chicago. A little Shellac is at least in it”, as well as "Jazz-Punk-Miniatures”
